Caring & Professional Dog Grooming Where You Need It

Rolling Bone Dog Grooming Policies

All dogs entering the salon must have proof of current vaccination for Parvo/Distemper (DHPP), Rabies, and Bordetella. Clients are required to provide this documentation prior to the date of the initial grooming appointment, and annually thereafter.

All clients will need to complete The Rolling Bone Intake Form, and the Policies/Consent to Groom/Release of Liability Form, at or before the initial appointment. One intake form is required for each dog, however only one completed Policies/Consent to Groom/Release of Liability Form is required. Please see the Policies/Consent to Groom/Release of Liability Form for The Rolling Bone policies regarding vaccinations, matted coats, aggressive/biting pets/existing health issues/senior pets, skin conditions, and fleas and ticks. All clients should also be aware of and respect the below policies.

For the health and safety of all dogs who enter the studio, please do not bring your dog in if he or she has any signs of illness, such as runny nose/nasal discharge, coughing, sneezing, vomiting, diarrhea, runny eyes, mange, excessive fleas, worms, or any known contagious illness. If your dog is ill, please call the studio at least 24 hours before your appointment to reschedule. If your dog becomes ill the morning of your appointment, please call or text The Rolling Bone promptly to notify of the circumstances, so that your appointment can be rescheduled. Failure to notify The Rolling Bone of illnesses in advance, may be cause to remove your pet from The Rolling Bone client roster.  Likewise, if you or the person dropping off your pet has any signs of flu, Covid-19, or other contagious respiratory illness, please notify The Rolling Bone in advance to either reschedule your appointment, or to arrange for a contact-free exchange. Please be considerate and wear a mask during such exchange.
Only one dog or family’s dogs are permitted in the grooming studio at a time. The Rolling Bone strives to make the grooming experience as stress free as possible for its furry clients.

Please be prompt for your appointment, and plan to arrive 5 to 10 minutes before your appointment time, to potty your dog before entering the studio. A pet relief area is located on the left side of the building, and a pet waste station containing bags is available there for your convenience. Please clean up after your dog, and dispose of waste bags in the receptacle provided at the pet waste station. Given that a grooming appointment can be lengthy, it is important that your dog can relieve himself/herself prior to entering the building. For the safety of your dog and others, dogs should be leashed at all times and wear a collar with ID tags while on the Pineview Place property. As a courtesy to other Pineview Place tenants and their guests, please do not walk your dog around the complex.

When you drop off your dog for an appointment, you will be provided an estimated time for completion. However, it is possible for the grooming appointment to take longer or shorter than anticipated, depending on your dog’s behavior, coat condition, or physical limitations. Please remain available by text message or phone during the entirety of the appointment, in the event your groomer needs to consult with you regarding issues that arise during the groom, or in the event your dog will need to be retrieved earlier or later than anticipated.

Your groomer will text or call you to give you at least a 15-minute notice as to when your dog’s groom is expected to be complete. If you need a longer notice, your groomer will be happy to accommodate. When you arrive to pick up your dog, please do not enter the studio until your groomer texts or calls you to advise you that your dog is ready. If you enter the studio before your dog’s groom is completed, it may become impossible to safely complete the groom, due to the resulting excitement of your pet. Please keep in mind that your groomer may be scissoring or clipping your dog, and your dog can easily get injured if he or she becomes excited when you arrive early.
No call/no show policy: if you are unable to keep your appointment, please call the studio at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule. Failure to do so will result in your being charged no show fee in the amount of $100.00. If the no show fee is not paid, or if there are repeated no call/no show incidents, future services will be declined.
